The Arts and Architecture Conservancy at Saint Peter’s Church

54th St and Lexington Av in Midtown Manhattan

A non-religious, non-profit organization promoting classical, folk, and jazz music, theatre, dance, and visual art, fostering community engagement, preserving modernist art and architecture, and ensuring a vibrant future for the landmark Saint Peter’s Church at Citicorp Center (1977).

The problem

The Arts and Architecture Conservancy had an existing Instagram presence, but it did not reflect the depth of the organization’s decades-long artistic and cultural history. Over the years, the Conservancy had collaborated with numerous artists, musicians, galleries, and community programs, yet its social media presence lacked consistency, historical context, and active engagement with its ongoing programming.

How we solved it

We began by restructuring and curating the existing Instagram grid, removing outdated or inconsistent content while preserving posts that aligned with the organization’s identity and goals. From there, we reactivated the Conservancy’s historical narrative by coordinating collaboration requests with artists, musicians, and partner organizations, bringing archival and past work back into the feed.

Rather than relying heavily on newly produced content, we developed a curation-based strategy that used reposts, collaborations, and archival material to highlight both historic contributions and current programming. The result was a more cohesive, active, and institutionally aligned social media presence that better reflected the Conservancy’s cultural legacy and ongoing work.
